Metropolitan system statements for each county, city, and township comprising the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area. They consist of a fairly standardized set of statements, incorporating at various points the information specific to the governmental unit at hand. Each statement includes population, employment, and housing need projections; descriptions of existing and planned metropolitan facilities in the areas of transportation, airports, waste management, and recreation open space; comprehensive plan elements that may be excluded; and associated maps. Some are accompanied by detailed plans content guidelines.
